How Group Moderation works

Last Updated: Mar 17, 2017 06:45AM PDT

Terms Definition

Member Group : Administrators can create member groups based on  values of Member Profile Questions

Group Member: Members are assigned to individual member groups automatically based on the Member Profile Question value, they have provided in their profile.

Group Moderator: Admins may assign moderators to individual groups.

Group Based Moderation: is the process of Group Moderators moderate content submitted by members from the groups to which they are assigned.

Campaign Moderator: Admins may assign moderators to individual campaigns.

Campaign Based Moderation: is the process of Campaign Moderators (including Global Moderators. See and ) moderate content submitted to the campaigns to which they are assigned.

Global Moderator: Global Moderators are just like Campaign Moderators, except for one difference: they can perform Campaign Based Moderation in ALL campaigns. They CANNOT perform Group Based Moderation. So you can think of Group Moderators as “Super Campaign Moderators”.
