Can you turn off registration and can you customize the log in page of your community?
I have two questions.
-
If I have a private community, can I turn off registration to the public, so that only administrators can create accounts? I would prefer that there only be a sign in button instead of a registration and sign in button. If the registration button, does need to exist, can the registration page itself not allow any registrations?
-
Can the log in page be modified to have custom text?

Unfortunately, we cannot use email based access restrictions, as we will have users from many different domains. I guess the answer is that you cannot turn off registration.
As for modifying the log in page using Language and Strings, can you tell me the exact key that is associated to the value of the content on the log in page. On the Language & Strings page, I did a search for words from content on the log in page and it did not return any matches. So it is not clear where the content on the log in page can be modified.

Hello Matt,
What content exactly do you want to modify? Did you try putting "login" in Language & Strings with regex checked off, this will populate all the area related to login.
Please let us know if this helped.

I am trying to edit the log in for a private community. The default text is the following.
"Welcome to the {0} feedback community. Please sign in if you've already created an account. If you don't have an account, click register to create an account."
I tried putting "login" in Language & Strings with regex checked off and did not find the above wording.
I think I just found it at application.ideascale.ml.private.welcome
