Do I have the option to remove my first name and last name to hide my identity?

Yes. Simply edit your profile and choose, "Hide my Identity" in the checkbox. Now your identity will be hidden from other users. Note: users can also choose this upon registration. More info on this here: http://support.ideascale.com/faqs/communities/hiding-your-identitya...

Is it possible to update my profile image?

Yes. User profile images are managed by Gravatar.com based on the email address you've used when you signed up for IdealScale. Simply sign up for an account at gravatar.com using this email address, and IdeaScale will render your profile image.

What is a Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar)?

Your Gravatar is an 80×80 pixel image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?

How do I set it up?

Head over to the official Gravatar (http://gravatar.com/) website, sign up (it’s free), and upload a gravatar. You can associate different gravatars with different emails.

How Do I Use It?

Easy. When you comment on an IdeaScale idea it will automatically add your photo, based on the email you used to sign up for your account.
