Where can I access the moderation settings for my IdeaScale community?

What are the different types of moderation?

IdeaScale admins have the ability to choose how they moderate their 1) members and 2) ideas & comments:

If the "New Members" selection is UNchecked, visitors to any public IdeaScale community will be allowed to freely register and join the community. If this box is checked, the moderator of the community will be required to approve the new registrant. With each new user registration, the moderator will receive an email notification.

Similarly, if the "New Ideas & Comments" selection is UNchecked, new content contributed to the community will go live immediately. If the "New Ideas & Comments" is checked, the moderator will be notified via email of new site content that is awaiting approval. These notification emails include an approval link for easy approval right from the admin's email inbox.

How does moderation work if email-based access restrictions are set up?

If the checkbox for New Member moderator approval is unchecked but the site admin has entered a certain domain/s into the Email Address Mask field of the Access Restrictions menu, auto-approval will be restricted to registrants with emails from that domain. This approval will be via Double Opt-In Verification.
