Is there more than one type of moderator in IdeaScale?

Yes, IdeaScale has two different types of moderators: Global moderators and Assigned Moderators. Global moderators are moderators across the community--all new users, ideas, and comments, go through the standard moderator/s when the account is set to a higher level of moderation. Assigned moderators are Campign-specific. Assigned moderators do not moderate users and only moderate ideas/comments from their assigned Campaign/s.

How do I add additional Global moderators to my community?

When you create an IdeaScale community, the administrator is added as the default Global moderator for the community. Here's how to add more Global moderators:

How do I add Assigned moderators per Campaign to my community?

Unlike the creation of Global moderators, Assigned moderators are created right from your community. When you are logged in as an admin, click into the Campaign to which you'd like to assign the community member. Between the Campaign title and the campaign ideas, you'll see the avatars of all the Global and Assigned moderators:

To add an Assigned Moderator, click the "+ Moderators" button.

How can I tell who is a Global moderator and who is an Assigned moderator?

The Xs on the upper right corner of select moderator avatars denote that they are Assigned. Global moderators have no X.

Can I unassign or remove an assigned moderator?

Yes. Simply click the X on their avatar and they will be removed/unassigned.
