Gravatar Support
Anyone can upload their picture and associate it with their profile using gravatar.com.

Hide Your Identity/Anonymous Posts
Any community member has the option to hide their identity (name, picture, etc) at any point. This is very helpful in private communities or discussions about sensitive topics, etc.

Full Section 508 Compliance
IdeaScale is completely Section 508 compliant based on WCAG v 2.0 standards.

Facebook and Twitter Integration
IdeaScale lets your community share with Twitter or Facebook through a variety of methods. Each idea includes a quick link for your users to tweet or Facebook "like" an idea. In addition, IdeaScale can be configured to automatically tweet about an idea once it reaches a certain amount of votes.

Off-Topic Functionality
IdeaScale offers a way to mark certain posts as "Off Topic". When ideas are marked as Off Topic, the idea is placed into a special category in a different part of your community.

File Upload
We've made great efforts to make it even easier to upload files to an idea. Any file that is uploaded is displayed directly inline - no need to click on a link to download a file.

We've made it easier than ever to create private feedback communities for your organization. Basically, you can create a community that is hidden from the general public, but is viewable by approved users once they've logged in.

The "Hot" Tab
In addition to sorting ideas by "Recent" and "Top Rated", we now include a "Hot" tab as well. This uses a special algorithm to sort ideas by both time and number of votes - giving your community members an additional view of all the ideas in your community. You can also set your community to sort all your ideas by default using this method.
