Integration Settings: Uploading Ideas via Spreadsheets

Can I upload a list of ideas from a spreadsheet?

Yes. You can upload an Excel spreadsheet that includes a listing of ideas. This feature is here:

Login -> IdeaScale (choose community) -> Settings Tab -> Excel Upload (under Integration)

What is the format for the Excel file?

The file should be in the following format:

1. The data to be uploaded should be in the first tab (Work sheet) in the Excel file
2. First Column should be the Title / Subject for the Idea
3. Second Column should be the Text (Content) for the Idea
4. Third Column can contain Tags (Optional) (comma separated)
5. If the first row in the work sheet contains header, please select the check box for: "First row is column headers"

Note - The Excel file must be in the .xls format (not .xlsx)
