Uploading Votes via Spreadsheets
Can I upload a list of votes from a spreadsheet?
Yes. You can upload an Excel spreadsheet that includes a listing
of votes. This feature is here:
Login -> IdeaScale (choose community) -> Settings Tab ->
Excel Upload (under Integration) -> Vote Upload
What is the format for the Excel file?
The file should be in the following format:
- The data to be uploaded should be in the first tab (Work sheet) in the Excel file.
- First Column should be the URL for the Idea.
- Second Column should be an Email of a member of the community.
- Third Column should contain vote which is either 1 or -1.
1 = Up Vote (I agree)
-1 = Down Vote (I disagree)
If the first row in the work sheet contains header, please select the check box for: "Skip First Line (Header)”.
