User Reputation / Leaderboard / Badges

IdeaScale gives your community participants points based on their activity in the community. For example, a user could get 5 points for submitting a new idea, and 1 point for voting on each idea.

How does the Point System work? To incentivize participation, points are awarded based on interaction. Users will get rewarded points based on actions they take such as topics/ideas, commenting on topics/ideas as well as voting on topics and ideas.

Badges

Badges are earned by IdeaScale members based on their involvement in their community. For instance, a community member will have the "Newbie" badge when they first sign up. The "Verified" badge can be earned by completing one's IdeaScale profile.

Leaderboard

Along with badges, the leaderboard is used to build stronger user reputation. The leaderboard shows off the top contributors of the community by displaying their point rank.
