Submit Ideas Via Email is the latest feature introduced in IdeaScale to capture the ideas immediately which requires no login into the community by registered users. You can email a draft of the idea with your registered email address in the community and sent it to the unique email address provided by your community. The unique email address is generated in Submit Via Email Address. The idea submitted via email will be added to My Drafts in your community.
Please Note: To keep your communities spam-free we will include a randomized suffix to keep spammers out of your community. Please contact your Account Manager should you need to adjust your Idea Submission email address, though we do not encourage frequent email changes.

How to Compose an email for Idea draft
Compose an email with the Title of the Idea as subject and the Description of the Idea will be the body of the email, add any attachments in this email that will be displayed in your drafts. The email address you would need to send it to will the community email address that will be displayed in the widget or in the footer of all the emails received from the community.
Once the member has submitted the idea via email they will receive an email notification as shown in the screenshot below.
Where to find the Email Address
The members of the community can find the email address to submit ideas via the draft in the Email Footer of all the community-related emails.
Also in the Widget section in the sidebar module to the right-hand side of the homepage. You can use to copy to clipboard sign to copy the email address from the widget.

You can access your drafts from three places in your community:

How to report Idea Draft as Spam
The members of the community can report the ideas submitted via email as Spam by using the link in the Thank you email received for the Idea Draft.
Once you click on Report as Spam link it will open a new confirmation message if you would like to report it.
You will see a Thank you message displayed on your community homepage after you have reported the idea draft as Spam.
All the idea drafts reported as spam will be logged in the Idea Draft Submission Log as shown in the screenshot below.
Nags or Draft Reminders
Nags or drafts are email reminders sent to members who have submitted ideas via email in the community and are left in drafts. These reminders will be sent to members to urge them to submit the ideas saved in drafts. This reminder email will start once an idea is saved in drafts.
The first reminder will be sent 24 (or more) hours since the draft was first saved.
The second email reminder will be sent 4 days/96 (or more) hours since the first reminder was sent.
The third email will be sent 7 days/168 (or more) hours since the second reminder was sent.
Email Notification Setting for Nags or Draft Reminders
The Draft reminders are enabled by default in all the communities. You can enable and disable the setting on a Community level from General Settings >> Emails and Notifications >> Default Notification Preferences >> Receive idea draft reminder e-mails.
Member Notification Settings
Personal Settings >> Notifications >> Settings >> Community Specific Notification Settings >> Receive idea draft reminder emails. The members will be able to enable or disable this setting if it is enabled on the community level.
Once this reminder email setting is enabled you will receive an email notification as in the screenshot below.
Idea Draft Submission Logs
The administrator of the community will be able to see an idea draft submission log from General Settings >> Email and Notifications >> Idea Draft Submission Logs. It will display all the successes as well as failed draft submissions in the logs.
